Uplift Climbing the Vertical World family! It’s been a winding road that us brought us here, and we’re so excited to step into the new future of Uplift.

There's a lot of details that have to be ironed out when combining two businesses, but we're doing our best to make things as smooth as possible for you.
Firstly, everyone will have to sign a Vertical World waiver.
If you already have an up-to-date waiver at VW, it'll transfer over to Uplift! Sign it online to skip the line at the front desk.
Secondly, we now have new-ish pricing.
If you'd like to stay on your current membership pricing of $92/mo, you'll now have access to Vertical World Seattle, Vertical World North, and the massive expansion coming to Seattle this year.
If Uplift is the only place you want to be, we now offer a $72/mo Uplift-only membership. The same place you know and love, now at a significantly reduced rate.
If you have an active membership at Uplift, fill out this membership contract. Otherwise, visit our Pricing page.
Thirdly, your punch passes will now also be valid at all Vertical World locations!
Lastly, join us on April 26 to celebrate transition day!
We'll have some snacks and drinks, a climbing shoe demo from Unparallel at 430p, extra staff to help with memberships, and as always, some of the best bouldering in town.

FAQ
What if I have an Annual Membership?
All annual memberships will be honored through the end of their term. If you purchased a Regular Annual Membership, you'll receive a VW All Access Membership. If you purchased a Discounted Annual Membership, you’ll receive an Uplift-only membership.
What if I have a Family Membership?
The primary membership holder should fill out the membership contract for everyone in their family.
What if I have a Link Up Membership?
You don't need to do anything! Our most recent billing was prorated to April 26.
Why is the Youth/Student Membership going away?
Our Uplift-only membership is at a lower price than the old Youth/Student membership, so you’'ll be saving money for the same gym! Or, get your top-rope/lead on during the weekends with a full All-Access membership.
Will I have to pay the VW Initiation Fee?
No way!
What if I have an Uplift Uplift Membership?
We will continue to honor all existing Uplift Uplift discounted rates.
What about Gift Cards?
VW will honor Uplift gift cards!
Is the routesetting going to change significantly?
We enjoy experimenting with routesetting at Uplift and plan to continue! We’ll keep the ship steady for a couple of months through the Downgrade (June 20!). After that, you’ll get updates on what we have planned for the second half of 2026. Don’t worry, Elly’s still in charge 🙂
What’s happening to the staff?
Most of the staff is staying on! You’ll see the same smiling faces welcoming you every day, along with some new ones from the VW crew. For the first couple of weeks, you’ll see some VW staff as we transition to our new software. Make sure to say hello!
